NHS 111 and Emergencies

If the situation is serious or life‑threatening, please call 999 immediately

NHS 111 is the NHS helpline for urgent medical advice when it’s not an emergency. By calling 111, you’ll speak to a trained adviser, with support from healthcare professionals, who will assess your symptoms and guide you to the most appropriate care.

The service is available 24 hours a day, all year round, and calls are free from both landlines and mobile phones.
